i’m a hero’s bride.
it’s hot & i’m lazy. zuhair was a total hero this morning when he helped put out a fire he saw starting from some dry brush in a playground..what a dreamboat.
we finally made it out to a borders. we majorly scored on books. we found the most beautiful j.d. salinger box set! it’s so sad our beloved borders is closing…i loved studying there.
some new editions to our home i purchased as gifts for zuhair:
we made the trek out to hope for home for cats to visit mama today. she looked great. the facility is awesome. we’re going to try to raise some money and buy them some swamp coolers and air conditioners. it was hard saying goodbye to her…
zuhair surprised me with this delicious soda…i wish i had more:
after visiting mama lou we were so tired from the heat that we cancelled our saturday plans and headed down to orange county to visit zuhair’s parents and escape the heat. we brought our books and studied for a bit at the lost bean:
zuhair’s mom made us samosas…yum.
