das ist gut.
we took aimee to a baseball game! although a little reluctant at first, i somehow convinced her to come along with us. they had a $5 ticket night at dodger stadium:

it was a sold-out game:

i’m in it for the garlic fries and nachos:

i look like i’m really into the game, but in reality i’m just trying to keep a nacho from falling out of my mouth:

it was so nice hanging out with aimee:

i these guys so hard:

the skirt aimee’s wearing is one that i picked up at a flea market in paris. a couple years back my mom let my little sister choose anywhere she wanted to celebrate her birthday-she chose paris <3 we rented an apartment out there and had the best time.
it never looked good on me, but because it had sentimental value i’ve held on to it for so long. aimee looks amazing in the skirt. i’m glad it’s going to live with her.

<3:

the dodgers won! we celebrated the win with a post-victory feast from wurstküche. It was great as usual.

the best way to end the evening:

i’m going to miss taking photographs of the wall:

maeby was so in love with this boston cream pie we picked up for her from three dog bakery in pasadena:

i think we might have found mama a home! i met the most wonderful girl named lauren who volunteers for an organization called TLC of IE that places homeless kitties with people, nurseries, and on farms! they use the cats to hunt mice and other unwanted critters on their property. many of these places provide food and shelter to the kitties and allow them to roam free. it might take a month or longer till a spot opens up in the program, so until then mama is coming with us <3 :

even though we’ve been busy running errands and packing, zuhair thought it would be nice if we had a daytime date in claremont: first stop was a late lunch at the press

avocado and sprouts sandwich & barley split pea soup:

beef burger & vegan chilli:

the folk music center is the best place to escape the heat and explore. when i went to school in claremont i used to love visiting the shop. there are so many fun instruments to play around with & i love that they sell tibetan singing bowls:

piano finger:

zuhair & the ukeleles:

we stopped in for macarons and a coke:

salted caramel & vanilla macarons:
