I made a rug! I enlisted the help of the carpentry dream team better known as amy and tessa. I was inspired by this post. In total I spent $50 and got an awesome area rug! I had some problems along the way especially with painting. I bought a cheap set of brushes that all broke within the first 5 minutes of painting. in an attempt to make a house a home.
FINALLY!! i think i may have found a coffee table! we have chairs being delivered on friday and our sofa on saturday. looks like soon we will have something other than the carpet to sit on- hooray! in an effort to make our new place feel like a home i stocked the fridge and cupboards with food!

our move went really smoothly. we’re so thankful to our friends that took time out of their busy schedules to help us. it was much appreciated. our friends are so sweet that they helped us put together our bed, take down doors, and put together our new television stand. after we celebrated with pizza, beer, swimming, and a crossword puzzle! mama spent all of the day hiding in the bathroom...
