i slept the whole way home.
we met up with amir last night and went to a show.
afterwords we went to taqueria tapatia where we enjoyed tortas and tacos and where i thought i saw amir shapeshift into a homeless man…weird.

today has been the best. not only did my class get out early, i got a 6.5 mile run in, i received an awesome package from tommy and rose, and we had a surprise visitor!
surprise visits from friends are the best. amy called me this afternoon and said she wanted to come over and make us cappuccinos! amy just came home from a month long trip in germany (i missed her) and wanted to bring us goodies...

i’m so excited to be through with my first set of exams. my boyfriend and i had the best impromptu dance party on saturday. if that wasn’t great enough, the next day we went to a lobster buffet that had an ice cream bar!

i live for fridays. i look forward to them all week. it’s the one day I allow myself to decompress from the hectic school week. zuhair and i always plan dates and have fun mini-adventures… this weekend we spent some time out in la and claremont. so much food. so much deliciousness.

on friday zuhair and i went to visit mama lou at hope to home for cats. she gained so much weight! mama lou is still cute as ever… unfortunately she still has not been adopted :( i miss her a ton.
we spent the remainder of the day out in pasadena shopping, drinking coffee, and snacking on macarons. late that night i watched the matrix for the first time. i love the look on peoples faces...

i'm dreaming of juice.
I have been craving watermelon juice like crazy lately. i was finally able to enjoy some this weekend at native foods. everyone agreed that the nachos were the best thing that we ordered *super delicious* the portions at this place are huge…beware.
