family day.
we’ve got lemons! it’s such a great feeling to be able to go outside in your backyard and pick your own produce. I’m making lemon bars for zuhair, his parents, his friends at work, and my coworkers:

first date night of the year.
Last night Zuhair took me out on our first date of the new year. We went out to Claremont for dinner and a movie. We decided to eat dinner at Union on Yale After we filled our bellies with food and drink we headed over to the movies to watch Django. We LOVED it. I love spending time with Zuhair…The night was filled with super delicious food and a super awesome movie. Lots of fun was had!

nye: pretty party
NYE was a blast. I was afraid that I was going to be really tired, because I worked my first 3 night shifts in a row. We decided to head out to Lerrieann’s place to celebrate nye. birthday part 1.
Life has changed rapidly in the pat month. I started a new job, and celebrated my birthday. I always knew that work was going to be hard, but sometimes it just feels completely overwhelming. I spent the first week and half coming home and crying myself to sleep.
